Description
The Portage Lake Association will host its annual Pet Parade as part of Onekama Fall Festival on Saturday, October 13. The Pet Parade this year is in memory of Dr. Jerry Westheimer, a long-time supporter and veterinarian to many of our pets over many decades. The event will be held at 12 Noon in Onekama Village Park starting at the memorial fountain (next to the parking lot). Reverend Frances Townsend will give a Blessing of the Pets. A trio of judges will determine the winners of costumed pets in three categories: most creative, funniest, and best “human” contest.
